What happens to hair when we perform hair colour treatment?In order to make a perfect penetration of the pigment molecules possible, the scales of the cuticle are raised - altering the pH value to alkaline. Once the colour is fully processed, it is very important to cleanse the hair and restore the pH level of the hair to a more natural value. The benefits are that the cuticle plates are closed again, the hair is more effectively protected and colour is locked in, it also helps to create maximum possible shininess in the hair. Rinsing out hair colours using only a normal shampoo leaves the cuticle plates open. PHASE 3 – PH BALANCER
Description
The perfect after colour conditioner, restores the hair to a normal pH level in just 1 minute. Has a strong re-hydrating action, moisturising the hair and the scalp. Protects the hair cuticle to help provide added flexibility, body and shine. Use on towel dried hair after first treating the hair with either Phase 2 or Pherfection 1. Apply to the hair and scalp and gently comb throughout the hair. Leave on for 1 minute then rinse off with plenty of warm water.
